10 years of LAST Conference Project

In 2012, we set out with the intention of creating a gathering we would want to go to ourselves.

This turned into the most collaborative, engaging, valuable and community driven event of its type in Australia, with editions in 5 cities, including Melbourne. Please help us in 2022, to celebrate 10 years of great interaction and learning.

Find out about the project to reflect on 10 years of LAST. You can get involved from where ever you are, in the lead up to the Conference, as well as on the day.

The historic Abbotsford Convent arts and cultural precinct

We aren't pumping money into a commercial conference venue or a multinational hotel chain. The Abbotsford Convent is a social enterprise and  amazing community arts precinct, that we are proud to have as a venue. We think its spaces are much more stimulating and interesting than a regular conference venue.

Here is a selection of the stimulating spaces that we have selected at our venue at the Abbotsford Convent. We are using the same spaces as in December 21 and also adding more spaces, throughout the precinct.

FAQs

What is LAST?

LAST stands for Lean, Agile and Systems Thinking. We help people who are working in modern organisations and those that aspire to change the way they work to find ideas, people, companies and community that will enable them to do so. We have grown from grass-roots, collaborative, practitioner origins in the meetup community, with people from small and large organisations, and a wide range of industries participating.
