Understanding changes in the way you work
Participants have the opportunity to choose from multiple in-person sessions. In the spirit of our events, most sessions are facilitated by LAST community members.
We want all topics that are related to creating digital products and services.
There will be a focus on the enormous need people have to understand the changes that are happening in work with the rise in all kinds of AI technologies.
A sample of the topic areas that this could cover include
- Case studies: how people are using AI in their work
- Opportunities, limitations, pitfalls and ethical issues
- How jobs and roles are changing in an AI world.
Having said that, not everything is going to be AI focused. There will be a range of topics, just as we have done in previous LAST Conferences.
Submissions are currently being assessed for inclusion on the schedule.

The historic Abbotsford Convent arts and cultural precinct
We aren't pumping money into a commercial conference venue or a multinational hotel chain. The Abbotsford Convent is a social enterprise and amazing community arts precinct, that we are proud to have as a venue. We think its spaces are much more stimulating and interesting than a regular conference venue.
Here is a selection of the stimulating spaces that we have selected at our venue at the Abbotsford Convent.
